Research into the perception of colour  #Weeflab

Two warps for my second residency at Textílmiðstöð - fine linnen and pre-mordanted wool. No design of a result, no failures, just new, unexpected forms. 

Slow process, play and serendipity. Shibori weaving + Glit technique_Icelandic wool + dusty, vintage linnen_finely woven traditional pattern + shimmering, sagging threads.

The hand is the interface, the weaver is the protagonist of our time, especially in the experience of time itself.
